Falmouth beach is world famous
A Falmouth Antigua beach has wonderful sunsets, sand, rocks and water, sea winds, beach volleyball, music and the occasional boardwalk loaded with amusements.
If you're interested in seclusion, however, keep in mind that many of the more crowded Falmouth Antigua beaches are popular for good reason. If you're looking for an active, social atmosphere with plenty of convenient services, try one Falmouth Antigua beach that is larger.
For those interested in pursuing specific activities learning more about the character of each beach can prove invaluable and our partner sites can provide you with useful information on each Falmouth Antigua beach. |

Falmouth beach - where dreams become true vacations
For the more clothing-conscious or for visitors with children, Falmouth area offers several appropriate beaches. Cornwall Beach is lively and happening, offering a variety of concessions and water-sport activities. Also a great place to visit, Walter Fletcher Beach is guarded from the surf, and on windier days, offers exceptional bathing and swimming opportunities that may not be found elsewhere. With calmer waters, this beach is recommended for a visit with children. MoBay's most famous bathing spot, Doctor's Cove Beach, was founded in 1906 when a group of doctors banded together to bathe here. At the time, access to the small cave was limited, and it was later destroyed by a 1932 hurricane. Although the cave is no longer there, the popularity of the bathing spot lived on, especially when Sir Herbert Bake claimed in 1920 that the waters in this location had curative powers. The crystal clear water, almost always between 78 degrees F and 84 degrees F, is fed by mineral springs. Admission costs approximately $5(USD), and there are plenty of changing areas and showers, as well as dining options. Starfish Trelawny beach - popular resort by the same name located here. Along the coastal road to Ocho Rios, one will find Silver Sands, Fisherman’s Beach, Time N’ Place, and Trelawny Beach. Each beach has a unique character and atmosphere.
